Dr. Kelly Kohls is an Tennessee-based educator, businesswoman, activist, and former school board leader known for her conservative advocacy in education reform. She founded the National School Boards Leadership Council, where she serves as Executive Director/President.

Common sense conservatives often find themselves in the minority on school boards. What might seem a hill too big to climb can be turned into a winnable challenge. Learn how to lean in and accept the challenge to put the children first and make changes to improve academic outcomes, increase student safety and become more transparent with the community you serve. 

If you enjoy a board majority accomplishing changes can still be a challenge. Staying ahead of the machine will be your greatest need. Learn how to manage messaging and the message.
