Back the Blue - Support Our Police
Our police officers need our support because they support us. We need to keep our communities safe. We need to make sure our police force is well funded. Contact your city mayors to communicate your support for increasing fiscal spending for our police force and back the blue in our communities.

Total officers on patrol: 831 officers, 224 vacancies
Leaves 1 officer for every 6100 citizens. Need is 1055 officers to maintain.
There is still a strong possibility of vaccine mandates among the department, which will ultimately cause a mass exodus of officers (upwards of 500)
In addition, at the end of the year there may be up to 150 patrol officers who choose to leave the force after they receive their annual bonus, without new recruits to take their place.
